WASHINGTON, May 25 -- Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., has introduced legislation (S. 1659) to amend the Public Health Service Act "to provide for the participation of pediatric subspecialists in the National Health Service Corps program."
The bill was introduced on May 23 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
