WASHINGTON, May 25 -- Sen. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., has introduced legislation (S. 1651) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to include foster care transition youth as members of targeted groups for purposes of the work opportunity credit."
The bill was introduced on May 23 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Benjamin Cardin, D-Md. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
