WASHINGTON, May 23 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the extent to which General Services Administration, the Departments of Defense and the Energy Department have used the tribal energy preference. The report (GAO-19-359) is titled "Tribal Energy: Opportunities Exist to Increase Federal Agencies' Use of the Tribal Preference Authority".
The report was sent to Sen. Tom Udall, D-New Mexico, vice chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, on April 19 . . .
