WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 1529) to "make additional financial assets of the Government of Iran available to pay compensatory damages to the victims of terrorism sponsored by that Government."
The bill was introduced on May 16 and has eight co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., James M. Inhofe, R-Okla., John Cornyn, R-Texas, Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Doug Jones, D-Ala., Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., . . .
