WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., has introduced legislation (S. 1512) to "require the Comptroller General of the United States to conduct a study on the designation by the Secretary of Defense and the Secretaries of the military departments of installations of the Department of Defense as remote or isolated."
The bill was introduced on May 16. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
