WASHINGTON, April 24 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance announced that it expects to award up to 10 discretionary grants for innovations in community-based crime reduction.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $10 million with a ceiling of $1 million for each award in the program. The agency said the grant was associated with a) employment, labor and training, b) humanities, c) information and statistics and d) law, justice and leg . . .
