WASHINGTON, April 20 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service announced that it intends to award a $100,000 cooperative agreement to the PaleoCultural Research Group of Broomfield, Colorado, for archeological investigations at the Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site's Sakakawea Village in Stanton, North Dakota.
The agency description of the grant states: "This project addresses an immediate need, identified in the park's archeological management . . .
