WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 1220) to amend the Federal Advisory Committee Act to increase the transparency of Federal advisory committees.
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
