WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. James M. Inhofe, R-Okla., has introduced legislation (S. 1217) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to eliminate the taxable income limit on percentage depletion for oil and natural gas produced from marginal properties."
The bill was introduced on April 11. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
