WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 1209) to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act with respect to approval of abbreviated new drug applications.
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
