WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 1202) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to provide for a permanent Independence at Home medical practice program under the Medicare program."
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
