WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., has introduced legislation (S. 1168) to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 "to ensure campus access at public institutions of higher education for religious groups."
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla., and Tim Scott, R-S.C. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
