WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (S. 1166) to "direct the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information to make grants for the establishment or expansion of internet exchange facilities."
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
