WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., has introduced legislation (S. 1150) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to provide a child tax credit for pregnant moms with respect to their unborn children."
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., Deb Fischer, R-Neb., Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, and James Lankford, R-Okla. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
