WASHINGTON, April 13 -- Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., has introduced legislation (S. 1143) to amend title 10, U.S. Code, "to improve testing and inspections for lead on military installations, in Department of Defense housing and schools, and in military dependent children."
The bill was introduced on April 11 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
