WASHINGTON, March 15 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 828) to amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act "to prohibit oil-, gas-, and methane hydrate-related seismic activities in the North Atlantic, Mid-Atlantic, South Atlantic, and Straits of Florida planning areas of the outer Continental Shelf."
The bill was introduced on March 14 and has 10 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., Robert Menendez . . .
