WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 533) to "require the Secretary of the Treasury to consider certain transactions related to precious metals for purposes of identifying jurisdictions of primary money laundering concern."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Marco Rubio, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
