WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 527) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to modify the earned income tax credit to account for the amount by which economic growth has outpaced income growth."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
