WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., has introduced legislation (S. 526) to withdraw certain Bureau of Land Management land from mineral development.
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
