WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (S. 522) to "establish the African Burial Ground International Memorial Museum and Educational Center in New York, New York."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
