WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., has introduced legislation (S. 512) to "establish an advisory office within the Bureau of Consumer Protection of the Federal Trade Commission to prevent fraud targeting seniors."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
