WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 510) to amend the Communications Act of 1934 "to provide for certain requirements relating to charges for internet, television, and voice services."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and has six co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Tina Smith, D-Minn.
