WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 500) to amend title 54, U.S. Code, "to establish, fund, and provide for the use of amounts in a National Park Service Legacy Restoration Fund to address the maintenance backlog of the National Park Service."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and has 25 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Mark R. Warner, D-Va., Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., Angus S. King Jr., I-Maine, Thom Tillis, R-N.C., Susan M. Collins . . .
