WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 497) to "improve diversity and inclusion in the workforce of national security agencies."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Cory Booker, D-N.J., Christopher Coons, D-Del., Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Jack Reed, D-R.I. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
