WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 476) to amend title XI and XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide greater transparency of discounts provided by drug manufacturers.
The bill was introduced on Feb. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., and Jon Tester, D-Mont. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
