WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 475) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to prevent catastrophic out-of-pocket spending on prescription drugs for seniors and individuals with disabilities."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee . . .
