WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, has introduced legislation (S. 471) to amend title 28, U.S. Code, "to increase transparency and oversight of third-party litigation funding in certain actions."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Ben Sasse, R-Neb. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
