WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 3753) to amend title 36, U.S. Code, "to grant a Federal charter to the Forest and Refuge County Foundation, to provide for the establishment of the Natural Resources Permanent Fund."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and James Risch, R-Idaho. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
