WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 -- Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., has introduced legislation (S. 3752) to "require the transfer of certain land to be held in trust for the benefit of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe of North and South Dakota."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 13. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
