WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- Sen. Patrick Toomey, R-Pa., has introduced legislation (S. 3746) to "curtail the use of changes in mandatory programs affecting the Crime Victims Fund to inflate spending."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Tom Cotton, R-Ark., Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Joni Ernst, R-Iowa. It was referred to the Senate Budget Committee.
