WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- Sen. Tina Smith, D-Minn., has introduced legislation (S. 3742) to amend the Public Health Service Act "to require group and individual health insurance coverage and group health plans to provide for cost sharing for oral anticancer drugs on terms no less favorable than the cost sharing provided for anticancer medications administered by a health care provider."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., Christopher S. . . .
