WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, has introduced legislation (S. 3471) to "direct the National Science Foundation to support STEM education research focused on early childhood."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 18. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
