WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 3464) to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 "to authorize the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish a continuous diagnostics and mitigation program at the Department of Homeland Security."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 18 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
