WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., has introduced legislation (S. 3459) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to expand the credit for expenditures to provide access to disabled individuals."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 18 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
