WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 3444) to "designate the community-based outpatient clinic of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as the Douglas Fournet Department of Veterans Affairs Clinic."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. John Kennedy, R-La. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
