WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on measures the Department of Defense uses to assess the quality of direct and purchased care. The report (GAO-18-574) is titled "Defense Health Care: Expanded Use of Quality Measures Could Enhance Oversight of Provider Performance".
The report was sent to Sen. James M. Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, chairman, Sen. Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island, ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Rep. Mac Thorn . . .
