WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation announced that it intends to award a $1,025,000 grant to the Yakama Nation of Toppenish, Washington, for the monitoring and evaluation of fish passage at the Cle Elum Dam.
The agency description of the grant states: "Reclamation is leading a cooperative investigation with the Nation, State and Federal agencies, and others, to study the feasibility of providing fish passage at the five large storage da . . .
