WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation announced that it intends to award a $4,201,366 cooperative agreement to The Freshwater Trust of Portland, Oregon, for the implementation of habitat improvement projects.
The agency description of the grant states: "In 2012, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) released a Biological Opinion (BiOp) for the Rogue River Basin that identifies increasing the weighted useable area (WUA) as a reasona . . .
