WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation announced that it intends to award a $750,000 grant to the California Department of Water Resources for the study of juvenile salmon in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta and Suisun Bay region.
The agency description of the grant states: "The study will be conducted at sampling locations and using methods with a focus on restored and soon-to-be-restored marsh location to gain better understanding . . .
