WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Geological Survey announced that it intends to award a $27,000 cooperative agreement to the University of Northern Iowa for the assessment of vegetation response to managed disturbance and validation of conservation reserve program cover quality.
The U.S. Geological Survey provided the following overview: "Wildlife benefits attributable to the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) literally depend on what is on the groun . . .
