WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service announced that it intends to award a $150,000 cooperative agreement to the Great Basin Institute of Reno, Nevada, for restoration and invasive plant management at the Joshua Tree National Park in California.
The agency description of the grant states: "This project aims to provide early career professionals with opportunities to build skills through work experience at Joshua Tree National Park (JOTR). . . .
