WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the extent to which the Department of Defense has a comprehensive approach for the collection, reporting and analysis of mishap data to inform aviation risk-management decisions. The report (GAO-18-586R) is titled "Military Aviation Mishaps: DOD Needs to Improve Its Approach for Collecting and Analyzing Data to Manage Risks".
