WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 3245) to "require the Secretary of Agriculture to transfer certain National Forest System land in the State of Texas."
The bill was introduced on July 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
