WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark. has introduced legislation (S. 3219) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 "to modify the requirements for multiple employer plans."
The bill was introduced on July 17 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Todd Young, R-Ind., Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., and Cory Booker, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
