WASHINGTON, July 14 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 3212) to "facilitate effective research on and treatment of neglected tropical diseases through coordinated domestic and international efforts."
The bill was introduced on July 12 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., and Cory Booker, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
