WASHINGTON, July 15 - Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, has introduced legislation (S. 3190) to "empower States with authority for most taxing and spending for highway programs and mass transit programs."
The bill was introduced on July 10 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
