WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., has introduced legislation (S. 3083) to amend the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 "to improve career and technical education opportunities for adult learners."
The bill was introduced on June 18 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
