WASHINGTON, June 16 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 549) designating June 15, 2018, as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
The resolution was introduced on June 14 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn., and Claire McCaskill, D-Mo. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
