WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has introduced legislation (S. 2878) to "improve the tracking of data on, and benefits paid to, public safety officers who are killed or disabled in the line of duty."
The bill was introduced on May 17 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., and Christopher Coons, D-Del. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
