WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss. has introduced legislation (S. 2867) to "improve the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps programs, to authorize an expansion of their presence in low-income, rural, and underserved areas of the United States."
The bill was introduced on May 16. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
